Popis:	Reaction of t-butyllithium with meso-tetraphenylporphyrin gives two di-t-butyl-dihydroporphyrins, the addition occuring at positions 2,3 or 5,10. 5,10-di-t-butyl-5,10-dihydro-meso-tetraphenylporphyrin adopts a helicoidal structure as shown by its X-ray crystal structure.
