Popis: The reactions of N-(2-carboxyphenyl)salicylideneimine and hydrated praseodymium(III) or neodymium(III) chlorides give 1D complexes with interesting structural and spectroscopic features; the chains possess the singly deprotonated ligand which is in its zwitterionic form.
