Popis: | Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a distinct form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), which accounts for 10–15 % of all childhood lymphomas [1, 2]. The median age at diagnosis for children and adolescents with ALCL is approximately 12 years of age. Pediatric ALCL is characterized by advanced disease at presentation (75 % of cases). Coexisting skin involvement is common with systemic ALCL. Central nervous system involvement is rare. Bone marrow involvement varies. No correlation between ALCL and immune deficiencies has been reported. |
