Popis: | Phase I archaeological survey of 5,513 acres. 13 new historical sites identified; 12 recommended for Phase II to determine NRHP eligibility. 28BU936 is a twentieth-century structure (1939 -1951); recommended not eligible at the Phase I level. Phase II NRHP eligibility testing, 13 archaeological sites. Six recommended eligible for inclusion in the NRHP. Four prehistoric sites (28BU531, 28BU536, 28BU537, 28BU632) and two historical sites (28BU513, 28BU699) are recommended eligible for inclusion in the NRHP. Six had limited artifact assemblages or lacked the necessary integrity to convey significance and recommended not eligible. A single site, 28BU511, was determined to not represent an archaeological site on JB MDL. |
