Popis: Previous studies 1, 2, 3 of the factors which govern the lateral dynamic behaviour of tractor-mounted implements have been devoted to simple shaped single point implements. These studies show that the rate at which the implement returns to the normal working position depends on the soil forces, forward speed of travel, the moment of inertia of the implement and the geometry of the hitch system. The geometry of the disc plough; the unsymmetrical orientation of the soil working parts relative to the direction of motion are also among the important parameters which must be considered in the design of the suitable linkage and implement geometry for optimum lateral behaviour.
