Popis: | In this article are presented the results of a statistical investigation into the variation of the mechanical characteristics of cermets (AI203--Mo and AIN-Mo~ reinforced with zirconla and mullite whiskers with test temperature [i]. Composite materials for investigation were prepared by hot pressing, using a hydraulic press with induction heating, in single-seat dies. After the die set was placed in the inductor, a light load was applied to the punch by lowering the upper plate of the press by hand. The die was then heated up to the pressing tempera=ure, and the full pressure was applied. After the specimen ceased to shrink, it was maintained at the maximum temperature and pressure for another 5-10 mln and then cooled down together with the die set. |
