Popis: | The paper presents an assessment of the physical properties of a selected macroscopic homogenous soil layer. The variability of the physical properties of glacialacustrine clays from Jastrzebia Gora cliff are presented. The variations in physical parameters of clays are examined statistically (Descriptive Methods, Box-and-Whisker Plot, Correlation and Covariance Analysis, Factor Analysis) in order to ascertain the different sources of variability. The assessment of variability was presented by parameters with the highest variability value. The estimation method seems to be useful in presenting the tendency of spatial variability of physical parameters in the investigated area. The results of the analysis helped to distinguish a particular section with strictly defined physical properties. |
