Popis:	Peritoneal surface malignancy (PSM) is associated with poor prognosis. Mean overall survival is 6 months. Historically, patients diagnosed with peritoneal metastasis derived from a solid tumour such as colorectal cancer, appendiceal cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, gynaecological malignancies or peritoneal mesothelioma receive only chemotherapy with palliative intention, because distant metastases especially PSM are associated with poor prognosis.
