Popis: Gastro-oesophageal reflux (GOR) is a common problem in infancy; it often leads to parents seeking advice from their GP. It can range from asymptomatic regurgitation to full gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), where the reflux is repeated and severe, thus causing harm. The wide range of differing opinions on correct management from medical professionals and the general public can be problematic. The aim of this article is to provide an overview of the diagnosis and management of GOR and GORD. This article will focus on GOR in children under 1 year of age, the age group most commonly affected.
