Analysis, Design and Implementation of DC-DC Boost Converter Using H∞ Loop Shaping Controller

Popis: This paper proposes the H∞ loop shaping control scheme for DC-DC boost converter using Pulse-width modulation (PWM) techniques. The averaged linear model of the boost converter is developed for three controllers namely classical control (voltage mode), post modern control (H∞ control) and H∞ loop shaping using Ricatti equations which guarantee stability and the desired closed loop dynamic response. The experimental results are accomplished using DSP TMS320LF2407 validated with simulation results that shows the proposed H∞ loop shaping controller has better performances with good tracking and high rejection capability when disturbances are introduced due to changes of load and input voltage.
