Popis:	VARIOUS problems concerning the behaviour of fluids in conditions of weightlessness and in weak gravitational fields have recently gained topical importance. The present paper discusses two such problems. The first two sections formulate the problem of the small oscillations of a fluid, discuss its solvability and establish spectral properties. The remaining sections are concerned with fluid oscillations under various simplifying assumptions.
