Popis: | Now everything is connected and because of the data explosion, data generation per year will exceed 160ZB in 2025. Non-volatile memory is a key component because store, manage and utilize those data are very important. The NAND flash is an inevitable memory device as a storage and continue to improve its density and performance even it faces many challenges. Breakthrough in computing system is required to manage big data and new non-volatile memory called storage class memory is expected to be one of solutions. There is an opportunity for emerging non-volatile memories to realize SCM. 3D Flash also stretches its performance towards SCM area and competes with emerging memories. Tough challenges continue in coming years. |
