Popis: | In this article, we present a collection of significant (computationally-hard) search problems, encountered in contemporary decentralized power grids, such as complex smart grids. Against this background, we show how Answer Set Programming (ASP) can be utilized as a powerful tool for efficiently addressing these problems. The overall demonstration provides the ability to assess potential (harmful) issues that a power electrical system may face, due to a variety of topological failures, a fact which, in turn, results in augmented reliability and robustness of energy distribution and management. |
