The Politics of Caring: Using a Political Tool to Analyze and Intervene in the Implementation of a Caring Philosophy in a Montreal Hospital

Popis:	Although many initiatives to establish caring practice models have been undertaken, few have benefited from an explicit analysis of the political environment where they were to be implemented. This article describes the use of a tool for political analysis and intervention to facilitate implementation of a caring philosophy approach into a major teaching hospital in the Montreal area. General comments on the use of politics and policy-making to put in place more caring environments are offered in the conclusion.
