Popis:	Finite amplitude steady convection in large aspect ratio configuration is studied with drastic assumptions (summerised modes, stability analysis). We found intersting indications on the temperature and velocity distribution within several critical values for the control parameter. This paper will help to select a trial function in a further numerical approach.
