Popis: A study was made of the sanitary aspects of using welded lines in the processing of milk. The criteria used included visual examination, swab tests, rinse tests and standard plate and coliform counts on the milk at various stages of the processing. The results indicate that the use of welded lines of the type used in this plant in conjunction with an automatic CIP system is satisfactory for processing Grade A milk.
