This scope review study will ascertain which physiotherapeutic treatments are used in visually impaired children’s rehabilitation. Methods: An electronic search was carried out in the databases; Lilacs, Pubmed/Medline, Embase, Pedro, Web Of Science, Scopus, Scielo, Science Direct and Cochrane, with the following keywords "Physical Therapy Modalities", "Child","Vision Disorders", "Vision, Low" Results: five studies were identified emphasizing the following physiotherapeutic treatments: balance training, proprioception, gross and fine motor coordination, strengthening, visual-motor control, visual perception and associated recreational activities. Conclusions: The few studies found showed that physiotherapy in visual impairment used kinesiotherapy in treatments. Keywords: "Physiotherapy Modalities", "Child", "Vision Disorders", "Low Vision" |
