Popis:	Explicit forms of the redistribution functions for non-correlated non-coherent scattering of photons in spectral lines are derived, based on simple assumptions concerning the velocity distributions of atoms in the ground state and in the excited state. The functions derived are compared with those for correlated non-coherent scattering. The analysis of previously known results is extended and methods of computation derived.
