The species can be characterized by grey-brownish wing colouration with light whitish suffusion, expressed especially in the costal area, black transversal lines and characteristic shape of the reniform, which formed by two white semilunar C-like spots in distal and basal parts, brown in central part and with blackish shadow from inner side; white dash lies from medial part of the reniform toward submedial line. Hindwing yellow, blackish-brown basally, with clearly defined terminal band. Male genitalia (Fig. 100). The male genitalia of T. c-album differ from those of the other Tambana species by shape of valva, which is somewhat extended apically and almost rectangular on apex, the almost strait harpe directed parallel to ventral margin of valva, and the shape of vertically extended juxta. Aedeagus curved, with scobinate carina, bearing short sclerotised comb; vesica tubular, extended medially, having subapical diverticulum and small subapical field of small dense cornuti. Female genitalia (Fig. 126). The female genitalia of T. c-album differ from other congeners by small sclerotised antrum, long weakly sclerotised ductus bursae, and rounded corpus bursae bearing sclerotised patch in caudal part. Ovipositor quadrangular, papillae anales broad; anterior and posterior apophyses short, nearly equal in length; small, sclerotised, antevaginal plate strongly sclerotised; ductus bursae rather long, slightly sclerotised and slightly ribbed; corpus bursae membranous, rounded, with extension and sclerotised patch in caudal part. Distribution and bionomy. Northwest and Central China (Provs. Shaanxi: Taibai Shan, Qinling [Tsinling Mts]; Hubei: Wudang-Shan Mts.). The species occurs in primary forest at elevation 8002000 m. Moths fly from July to September. Published as part of Behounek, G., Han, H. L. & Kononenko, V.
