A highly twisting chiral qtz-d net built on a distorted tetrahedral node containing two types of helical substructure

Popis: | Herein, we present one chiral metal-organic polymer, namely Cd 2 (μ-H 2 O)(L) 2 (4,4′-bpy)( 1 , 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine H 2 L = 2-(4-carboxyphenoxy)benzoic acid). The single crystal X-ray diffraction shows that polymer 1 crystallizes in the chiral P6 5 22 space group, and the overall structural feature is the intriguing topological building of twisting chrial qtz-d net bulit on a higly rare distorted tetrahedral node, containing two types of helical substructure. |
