Esterase and lipase have been considered very important in lipid metabolism. Therefore, they have been studied with both enzymological and histochemical techniques. However, the substrate specificities of these enzymes are not yet clear. The authors have done the present experiments for histochemical clarification of the substrate specificities of these enzymes. A new method for the histochemical demonstration of the enzyme which is stated in this paper is contrived by the authors. |
