Popis: | The near ultraviolet photodissociation of deuterated ammonia, ND3, allows particularly clear observation and quantification of the quantum state dependent angular anisotropy of the recoiling D+ND2(X) photoproducts. The recoil anisotropy is shown to depend upon five quantum numbers: The rotational quantum numbers of the parent molecule selected in the absorption process, and the rotational and vibrational quantum numbers of the resulting products. |
