The present investigation was carried out during the summer of 2021 in the Ejido El Claro, which is in the municipality of Santa Ana, Sonora Mexico. The objectives of this research were to determine how much the people of Ejido El Claro use the activity of the family garden and to know how much they would like to have their own family garden at home, as well as the impact they believe that establishing a family garden will have on the family at home. The first hypothesis that was raised was that 85% of the people of the Ejido El Claro produce something of what they consume in their homes and the second hypothesis was that having a family garden at home improves the relationship of the members of the family, since it allows more time together and they develop a better communication of coexistence. This research was based on applying an evaluation instrument that consisted of applying a survey to a representative sample of the total adult population of the ejido. To determine the sample size, the formula for finite populations was used, considering a confidence level of 95%. For the application of the formula, only the total number of dwellings was considered, which is 214, yielding a total of 96 surveys to apply. It was found that most people are interested in having a family garden at home to obtain products and as a family link. It is concluded that the possibility of using family gardens in the Ejido El Claro is very high, since 100% of the people are interested in carrying out this activity even though 65% do not have the necessary knowledge about how it is cultivated. and manages an orchard, on the other hand, 75% would be interested and willing to establish an orchard and people who have some knowledge would like to acquire more knowledge about this activity. The inhabitants of the Ejido El Claro are willing to carry out this activity because they consider that it would not only bring them economic benefits, but also that it would allow all the members of the family to spend more time together, uniting the family more, propitiating a greater communication in family members, apart from giving them more confidence by spending more time together. Undertaking an activity in which all members of the family and the community participate is motivating for all families in the community, because it improves their personal and social relationship with each other, as well as providing them with the satisfaction of feeling involved in decision-making. your home and promote personal growth. |
