Popis: | Macroporous TiO 2 constituted of fibrous structures with a diameter of 100 nm was prepared via a new synthesis route involving the thermal decomposition of precipitate yielded by the reaction of titanium alkoxide with acetic acid. The arrangement of the fibers forms the hierarchical pore structure comprised of the pores between fibers (≃100 nm) and the larger pores surrounded by the assemblies of fibers (≃1-10 μm). This new material was applied to the removal of phosphoric anions from wastewater and showed the higher performance compared to that of the conventionally used phosphorus ore. This high performance due to the crystallization of hydroxyapatite inside its interfiber pores was retained for a long period of over 100 days. |
