Popis: Purpose To increase NICU RNs confidence and performance ability with obstruction and decannulation of a mature and fresh tracheostomy through an effective high-fidelity simulation and education project. Design Pre and post intervention confidence surveys were given and compared, initial and final simulations performance ability scores were obtained and compared, and a simulation effectiveness survey was given following the intervention. Sample Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staff nurses at The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital.
