Popis:	Unsolvated dilithio-trimethylenemethane has been prepared by the thermal rearrangement of the two structural isomers, 1-lithio-2-methylpropene and 3-lithio-2-methylpropene. This further extends the Kawa-Lagow modified Ziegler rearrangement to olefinic systems.
