Popis:	Eight subjects with chronic intractable disease were subjected to intravenous injections of India ink and the peripheral blood was studied for evidence of phagocytosis. Carbon particles were seen not only in the granulocytes and monocytes, but also in lymphocytes. Through these intravital studies, further proof is established for the theory that human lymphocytes are capable of phagocytosis.
