| Popis: | Aqueous extract of Calendula officinalis Linn. leaves and flowers has antioxidant action. The antioxidant activity was determined using the ferric thiocyanate and thiobarbituric acid techniques. The antioxidant activity of the aqueous extracts of petals was greater than that of leaves. According to the findings of this study, C. officinalis leaves and petals are a possible source of natural antioxidants. |
