A Resistance-to-time convertor consists of a voltage follower, a bridge amplifier and Schmitt trigger to increase the resistive sensitivity and resistance range of an embedded system like Arduino. Arduino has an Analog input Read scale between 0 to 1024 and max input voltage reading of 5V, due to which its resistance sensing capability is restricted and the accuracy is hindered. Therefore, the R to t convertor is used to improve its resistance sensing capability. Experimental values are also given to demonstrate the above. |
