Popis:	A simple and affordable method is developed for the simultaneous determination of high concentrations of copper(II) and nickel(II) in an aqueous solution in the form of colored aqua complexes by digital colorimetry using an office flatbed photo scanner. The validity of the proposed approach is proved by the analysis of the standard nickel silver sample. The accuracy of the results of determining copper and nickel in a metal alloy by digital colorimetry and spectrophotometry differs insignificantly.
