Popis: Although the restorative stage may be considered by some clinicians to be the easiest stage of an implant treatment, care and precision must not be overlooked. To hasten through the final restorative phase would be to negate previous efforts, such as the tissue-preserving incisions for anterior crowns at the uncovering stage. The crown is the only visible part of an implant for patients, thus the aesthetics are critical in terms of patients’ concerns; however, in addition to the importance of a restoration’s appearance is its functionality. The appropriate seating of a crown into its implant is integral to its prosthetic mechanics, which in turn influences the success of the implant, since it is the implant that depends on the restoration to transfer occlusal forces to the surrounding bone.
