Plants of Phaseoeus vuegalis are cultivated within a photoperiod of 12 h at a photon flux density of 242 uririm−2.s−1 and 25°C. The 3 to 5 weeks old plants were kept in the dark for various periods of time. After this treatment the bean leaves were exposed to the light. The gas exchange of one leaflet pf the first trifoliate leaf was measured by an IRGA. |
