Popis:	A series of novel trisubstituted 5-iodo-4H-1,3-oxazine-4-ones were prepared in moderate to excellent yields induced by NIS and Cu(CF3SO3)2through a [3+3] reaction of amides and propiolates. The reaction proceeds in a one-pot manner under mild conditions and gives rise to a new strategy for the formation of trisubstituted 5-iodo-4H-1,3-oxazine-4-ones and their derivatives.
