In Russia, in recent years there has been a significant increase in consumer loans by commercial banks. It is noteworthy that this increase occurs against the background of a decrease in real incomes of the population over the past five years. This situation is very fraught with the emergence of problems with the timely repayment of received consumer loans and, as a result, an increase in the volume of arrears from Russian commercial banks. The situation that has arisen inevitably leads to a decrease in the reliability of banks and a crisis in the banking system as a whole. |
