Researchon ISAR Real-time Imaging Based on Multicore DSP

Popis: Inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) imaging technology can obtain information about the non-cooperative target in a complex environment. This paper describes the basic principles and processing flow of ISAR imaging briefly. In order to improve the real-time performance of ISAR imaging, the multicore digital signal processor (DSP) is applied to the system. For giving full play to the multicore advantages and hardware resources, this paper proposes to refine the granularity of data segmentation by vector partitioning, and distribute data evenly to eight cores for processing. Besides, the article optimizes DSP code from five aspects to improve code quality and execution efficiency. By the experiments and performance analysis, the validity of the proposed real-time system and the advantages of multicore are demonstrated.
