Popis: | 5G mobile communication systems aim to provide various types of service to massive number devices with extremely high data rate and low latency. To achieve these requirements, 5G utilizes beamforming technique and Non-orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) scheme. When User Equipments (UEs) perform Random Access (RA) procedure as in 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) in 5G scenarios, it will result in a severe congestion problem which may result in inefficient energy consumption and increased latency. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme that utilizes NOMA and beamforming technique to mitigate collision during the RA procedure. Using simulations, we have shown that our proposed scheme can enhance the performances of the average access delay and random access efficiency. |
