Prototyped Guides are a recent resourge used to solve complex cases in endodontics. Among these complex cases, access in teeth with root canal calcification associated with an increased risk of perforations and canal deviation. To be produced, the guides go through a careful planning stage carried out in software and are then printed by a 3D printer according to the specifics of each case. As it is a tool that guides the professional during the access stage, several studies on the subject addressed the influence of the operator-s experience on the accuracy of endodontic access guides in teeth with calcified canals. |
