The issues of environmental protection, which humanity was forced to turn to at the stage of transition from an industrial to a post-industrial economy, continue to be of particular relevance at the present time. As a result of the impact on the environment of both internal and external factors, the countries of the world, regardless of their level of economic development, are faced with new environmental threats that go beyond national borders, causing irreparable damage to all mankind. The article analyzes the accumulated experience of countries in the negotiation process aimed at solving the global environmental problem. An attempt is being made to show that the development of a single mechanism for solving a single environmental problem for a huge number of countries, the transition to a “green economy”, at least in the medium term, is not possible. Options for solving this global problem can and should be of a variable nature and take into account the level of economic development of countries and the type of their economy. |
