Popis: In the work, the authors have presented the procedure and have given results of numerical modeling of the thermal state of a metal–concrete container with spent nuclear fuel during its transportation in a special car. Maximum temperatures of fuel-element sheaths have been determined for several versions of loading of the container with fuel including spent nuclear fuel, with short storage periods.
