Popis:	Erythro-1,2-dimethyl-3-pentinyl triflate ( 9 ) solvolyses in 97% 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol with formation of the 2,3,4-trimethyl-cyclobutanones 14a and 14b , but without formation of 14c , showing that a S N 2-like transition state is involved even in the cyclization of secondary homopropargyl compounds.
