Popis: | 1. The nature of the variation of the mechanical properties and hardness of iron-graphite compositions has been determined as a function of sintering temperature and it was shown that its mechanical properties and hardness increase nonlinearly with the sintering temperature. If the sintering temperature is lowered, the strength curve becomes more parabolic and the degree of curvature increases. 2. The nature of the variation of the mechanical properties and the hardness as a function of the carbon content of the charge was determined and it was shown that when the carbon content of the charge increases from 1 to 3% the mechanical properties (σbending, σv) decrease, while the hardness increases. 3. The optimum sintering temperature (1040–1100°C) for iron-graphite compositions to obtain good mechanical properties and a perlite structure has been determined. |
