Popis: | This paper focuses on the overvoltage and power factor degradation of distribution feeders caused by increased PV penetration in weak LV distribution networks. It proposes two local control algorithms to mitigate those two issues. The first algorithm employs reactive power control to mitigate power factor degradation. The second algorithm utilizes active power control to mitigate overvoltage. The algorithms are being activated simultaneously and work independently of each other. Simulation results show the overvoltage and power factor degradation issues are successfully mitigated for different levels of load demand. |
