Popis: Coconut bagasse, an agricultural solid waste was used as biosorbent for the removal of hardness after alkalized treatment. The adsorption of Ca(II) was studied at pH 6.8. The analysis of the isotherms by the nonlinear model showed that the experimental data were best described by the Temkin model, with lower χ2 value was obtained. The maximum adsorption capacities by Langmuir model was 30.20 mg.g-1.The results using non linear and linear method shown low discrepancy between them to equilibrium study. The results show that the CHA adsorbent can be applied for the removal of Hardness from wastewater.
