Popis: | With the prevalence of the Internet, the application of information technologies in everyday life is becoming increasingly common. Hospitals are no exception. In the hospital system, mobile apps are become commonly used, with staff, patients, and their family willing and expecting to make use of new technology. The aim of this study is to provide a patient-focused mobile app to promote a medical app service, thus improving medical quality. There are three aspects in these major functionalities. Firstly, the app is self-developed, which facilitates integration, upgrades, and control. It is cost-effective while being applied in a hospital service system. Second, the app comes with membership control, and it is connected well with the Health Care Information System. Patients are able to search their part of the medical records easily and securely, if necessary. Third, some novel ideas can be implemented for better user experiences and convenience. Data collected from the official website, such as the Google console, demonstrate the high download rate and satisfaction rate for the mobile app. |
