Popis: The study, impact of Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria, is intended to assess the prevention and control program implemented by the Nigerian government towards a successful containment of the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease; determine the effectiveness of the program implemented in terms of public awareness, healthcare delivery practices and provision of resources; also determine the impact of the Ebola Virus Disease in terms of economic, social and psychological. The study utilized the descriptive research design and a self-structured questionnaire. A pre-test of the questionnaires was conducted to test their reliability. Data were analyzed using weighted and composite means, ranking, and Pearson Correlation. Findings showed that the Ebola Virus Disease prevention and Control Programs initiated by the government were highly implemented and effective with respect to public awareness, healthcare delivery practices, and provision of the resource. Finally, Ebola Virus Disease had a great negative impact on the economic, social, and psychological health status of Nigerians .
