Popis: | Electronic transition moments and oscillator strengths for three valence transitions in Li2+ and in Na2+ have been computed as a function of internuclear distance using wavefunctions obtained from a model potential description. Band oscillator strengths and photodissociation cross sections for the X 2Σg+-2Πu, X 2Σg+ - 2Σu+(ns) and X 2Σg+ - 2Σu+(np) transitions where n = 2 and 3 for Li2+ and Na2+, respectively, are presented. |
