Popis: | COVID-19 is a respiratory disease due to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection can experience a range of clinical manifestations, from no symptoms to critical illness. The management and healthcare setting of this disease change according to the degree of its severity. In the mild form, patients need only symptomatic therapy, like antipyretic drugs, while in the more severe form, patients need to be hospitalized, multiparametric monitoring, prevention of complications, anti-inflammatory and antiviral drugs. |
