ERRORS OF THE PLOTTING OF GEOLOGICAL BOUNDARIES ON ENGINEERING-STRATIGRAPHIC COLUMNS BY DRILLING DATA

Popis: Engineering-geological boundaries on geological crosssections serve as the basis for the design of underground parts of structures. Errors of the plotting of engineering-geological boundaries on geological cross-sections are made up of errors of the determination of geological boundaries at drilling points, and of errors of the construction of cross-sections according with engineering-stratigraphic columns by drilling data. This paper presents a classification of errors of the determination of a geological boundary location at a drilling point. Geodetic errors of well site locations are estimated. The general errors of the determination of absolute altitudes of geological boundaries were calculated according to the addition law of random variables for a number of drilling methods. They turned out to be within a range of plus or minus 0.2–0.7 m. This erroris approximately plus or minus 0,3 m for the most common drilling methods.
