Temperature dependence of the tunnelling splitting in (NH4)2PbCl6

Popis: The average tunnelling splitting ħωF of the ammonium ion in solid (NH4)2PbCl6 was determined as a function of temperature by observing the tunnelling minima in the proton spin—lattice relaxation time. ω F/2π turned out to vary from 47.6 MHz at 4.2 K to 12.5 MHz at 50.6 K.
