Popis: | Earlier calculations of the cross sections for absorption of ultraviolet radiation by molecular oxygen in the transition 1³Πu-X³Σg− are corrected and extended to shorter wavelengths. The calculations confirm the experimental identification of strong absorption in the region of 1350 A, attributable to the ³Πu state. |
